“The Less you share the less power you have”, how can this be so? When you type in a search for lesson plans it comes up with roughly 9 million hits, pretty amazing right. We should be bringing this kind of thing into the class rooms and share this with our youth. But as educators are asked to most the Idea seems problematic. There is no real shift going on towards exposing them to the technology that we see fit. No matter how nice the technology teaching is still an extremely isolated profession and in some senses that is a good thing, but in others it can lose focus of the child and they can become distracted or bored. We need to start expanding not only our own knowledge but pass that knowledge on to our students. This is carried far beyond schools and education now it is a foreign affair and to connect to different cultures is vital in this day and age. Although, it is not just Americans who are refusing the internet all countries are being cautious of what they reveal on the internet. They may fear the Internet creates a potential for abuse that they can’t fight alone. However, the problem is “the less you share, the less power you have” and by secluding themselves they are seen as easy targets for other things. The important thing here is that you need to stand up and not fear what may happen. Because if you don’t you will be venerable, so “the less you share the less power you have”.

Good job talking and connecting to the crowd. Good point in your presentation about how technology helps us learn. Good job!
Good topic but you were shaking around in front of the class and try reading to us not off the cards. But good job!
Reagan, I think you should look at the audience more instead of reading off of your notecards. But good job.
I like your artical because when it comes to introducing technology in the classroom our class is a perfect example. This artical really applies to our class and how our school is lucky enough to have laptops.
Reagan- I think that a lot of what you said is true. This also is what Mrs smith thinks! like all the technology helps your learning andd stuff. I also agree with you, because its a lot more fun learning with a laptop! Good job reagan!
Reagan =]
You did so good at explaining everything, and had a lot of information to share, and it was clear you had a strong opinion on this topic, and expressed it nicely. Very good question as well.
Reagan-
Good topic on your PLN. I thought you spoke in a clear and loud voice. You had good reasons to support your case. You had a good question!
Reagan you did great and your topic was really good and your right it would help to have internet. But you probably don’t want to sway so much.
Reagan, Although your presentation was marvelous I didn't relly follow your words.
I don't think the internet is a threat to someone over 8.
Reagan,
the only thing that i would recomend is relax a little bit and dont look at your notecards as much. Otherwise your presentation was good. It was well organized and intresting.
reagan-
i liked how you said that teachers need to teach the kids how to use the internet to connect with other cultures. i have never thought about that before. you said the word "like" a lot. but other then that you did a great job and provided a lot of facts and research.
Reagan, Good job. i liked how your article was really relevant to our whole class. you explained every thing really well. Good job.
Reagan,
I think your topic relates very well to our everyday lives. With the advance in technology there IS great debate about whether to use it or not. You spoke very well to the class and you spoke very clear so you were easy to understand. Great job!
~Paige~
I think you made a good argument about classical teaching vs. technological teaching. I do't think that technology could erase the retro teaching.Try to stand still. overall great job.
Great job Reagan. I think you had a great topic! But I think that you should have been a little more prepared. But you still did a great job!
Reagan- Good job on your presentation. You kept good eye contact with the audience and you spoke really confidently. You seemed like you were really well prepared to present. Good job!
Your topic about the internet was a good topic because I agree with you about how the sharing knowledge will increase your power.
Reagang,
You had great eye contact, but I think you relied on your notes a little too much.To answer your question I don't think that will happen because thechnology is so advanced and complicated now and it is advancing even more over the years.
great topic but one thing thats would have made your speach better is flow in your voice more also good job on how much info you gave the class. To answer your question I think that that really wont happen because teconalgy can be so complated sometimes and what about prolbems with the computers or what if it crashes or you cant use it any more what will happen then?
Reagan- your topic says "The less you share the less power you have." is that right? But, i thought it was a good job, but i am not sure I really understand your topic and problam. I wish you would have clarified it. I like your question but I am very split on that topic. I think the more you use technolgy the more you grow away from people. Gosh I really like that question. Very good job.
Reagan,
I think that the technology would help because you are open to more resources and it will interest people more in learning. I agree with you that computers shouldn't be used as the only form of learning. You had great eye contact and brouhgt up some great points.
good job on how explaning how technology will help us learn
buti think it would be a easyer way to get through school.
Reagan-
You had very good eye contact and a loud voice so that everyone could hear you. I think that more teachers should be using technology today to teach kids. Also there is a certain extent to it; I think they should be in the classroom but not constantly always on them. Good Job! :]
